Triple camera with 108 megapixel main sensor
The highlight of the HONOR 200 Lite is the triple camera on the back. It consists of a 108 megapixel main sensor (f/1.75), a 5 megapixel ultra wide angle (f/2.2) and a 2 megapixel macro lens (f/2.4). This means that detailed photos can be taken even in difficult lighting conditions.
Unfortunately, there is no optical image stabilization (OIS) and zooming is only possible digitally up to 10x due to the lack of a telephoto lens. After all, the main sensor is no stranger. The presumably installed Samsung S5KHM3 was already used in the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S21, among others.
Selfie fans can expect a 50 megapixel front camera with LED light that uses a special algorithm for balanced self-portraits with precise focus. An automatic wide-angle mode also enables group selfies in which the background remains sharp. How good the camera of the HONOR 200 Lite really is remains to be seen in the test.
Bright OLED display and stylish design
On the front, HONOR has a 6,7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 90 Hertz refresh rate. The maximum brightness of 2.000 nits promises good readability even in sunshine. Eye-friendly features such as night mode and 3.240 Hz PWM dimming protect the eyes during prolonged use.
The HONOR 200 Lite is housed in a slim case that is just 6,78 mm thick and weighs 166 grams. Nevertheless, thanks to special structural technology, it should be particularly robust and fall-resistant. The colors available are Black, Cyan Lake and Starry Blue.
Solid technology and long battery life
The 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 octa-core processor works inside, which places itself in the lower middle class in terms of performance. There is also 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded using a microSD card.
The battery has a capacity of 4.500 mAh and supports 35 watt fast charging. This means that the HONOR 200 Lite should last up to 29 hours of telephony, 14 hours of video or 16 hours of surfing. Wireless charging is still not included in HONOR's "number series".
MagicOS 14, based on Android 8.0, is preinstalled as the operating system. HONOR promises particularly intelligent and user-friendly operation thanks to functions such as Magic Capsule, Magic Portal and Parallel Space.
