New display, new design
The Pixel Watch 4 features the Actua 360 display, a curved OLED panel with 3.000 nits of brightness. The display offers 10% more viewable area than its predecessor and appears almost edge-to-edge thanks to 16% narrower bezels.
The display is encased in an aerospace-grade aluminum casing and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It's also water-resistant to 50 m and IP68 certified. Another new feature is its ease of service. The battery and display can be replaced if damaged.
More endurance, faster charging
The Pixel Watch 4 is available in 41 mm and 45 mm sizes. The battery now lasts 30 hours (41 mm) and 40 hours (45 mm), including the always-on display. Battery life is extended to up to three days in battery saver mode.
Charging is done via a new side-mounted fast charging dock that brings the watch to 15% in just 50 minutes
Gemini on the wrist
With the Watch 4, Gemini moves directly to your wrist. Thanks to the "Raise to Talk" feature, simply raising your arm is enough to activate the assistant. Gemini answers questions, summarizes messages, or checks your calendar while you have both hands full on the go.
A new haptic motor (15% more powerful) and an improved speaker system ensure interactions feel more direct. The smartwatch is powered by the new Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 platform with ML coprocessor, which is said to deliver 25% more performance while consuming half the power.
Fitness and health in detail
The Pixel Watch 4 is closely integrated with Fitbit and offers a significantly improved health and fitness suite:
- Heart rate measurement with the highest accuracy
- Improved sleep tracking, 18% more accurate thanks to new ML models
- Skin temperature sensor that detects deviations from the normal range
- Dual-band GPS (L5) for more accurate route recording, even in cities or forests
- Over 50 training modes, including new pickleball and basketball
- Automatic training tracking if you forget to start a workout
Fitbit Premium also offers AI-supported training plans and running tips, essentially a digital personal coach on your wrist.
Security on a new level
Google has packed a whole range of safety features into the Watch 4. In addition to fall detection, accident detection, and Safety Check, the watch is the first smartwatch with satellite SOS, which allows emergency calls to be made even without a network or Wi-Fi.
The Watch 4 remains the only smartwatch that can detect a loss of heart rate. If the watch detects cardiac arrest or circulatory arrest and the user doesn't respond, it automatically connects to emergency services.

The Pixel Watch 4 is available for pre-order now and will be released on October 9th.
