Eskute Netuno Plus
Eskute is a relatively young manufacturer on the German e-bike market that is attracting attention with very attractive prices. For just 700 euros including shipping, it offers features that are rarely found in this price range.
Drive and battery
The Netuno Plus is powered by a 250 watt rear motor from Bafang. This supports the peak torque of 45 Nm and accelerates the e-bike up to 25 km/h. What is unusual in this price segment is the built-in torque sensor, which dynamically adapts the motor support to the pedaling force and thus ensures a more natural driving experience.
The motor is powered by a 522 Wh battery that is integrated in the down tube. According to the manufacturer, a range of up to 55 km should be possible. In practice, of course, the range depends on many factors such as route, weather and rider weight. The battery is charged with the included 3A quick charger in approx. 7-8 hours.
Equipment
The Netuno Plus is also impressive when it comes to the other components. At the front there is a hydraulic suspension fork from Suntour with 100 mm travel. The suspension fork can be adjusted to the rider's weight and can also be completely blocked if necessary.
The 27,5 inch wheels are equipped with Kenda tires and are slowed down by mechanical disc brakes with 160mm brake discs. Shifting is done with a 7-speed derailleur gear from Shimano.
The integrated LED lighting is practical and can be easily switched on via the display on the handlebars. The headlight is powered by the battery, the rear light is battery operated. Both lights are StVZO approved.
With a total weight of 27 kg including the battery, the Netuno Plus is not a lightweight, but is within the limits of a full-suspension e-mountain bike. The permissible payload is 125 kg.

Price-Performance Ratio
The biggest plus point of the Eskute Netuno Plus is certainly the price. For just over 700 euros you can get an e-mountain bike with full equipment, for which you would have to dig significantly deeper into your pockets from other manufacturers.
Of course, you also have to make compromises. For example, no mudguards are included and the Netuno Plus is only partially suitable for demanding terrain.
But if you're looking for a cheap e-mountain bike for dirt roads and easy trails, you'll get a lot of bike for your money here.
