ENGWE S6 product details
As far as cheap e-bikes from China are concerned, ENGWE ranks very high as a recommendable manufacturer. With the ENGWE S6, however, they are now also launching an e-scooter that has a lot to offer in terms of value for money.
The core is a 500 watt electric motor that delivers up to 700 watts of power at peak. The power can be adjusted in 3 stages. In the economical ECO mode, the e-scooter drives at a speed of 18 km/h. In normal mode it already reaches 30 km/h and in turbo mode it exhausts the full power with a speed of up to 45 km/h.
Whether you are allowed to drive the ENGWE S6 with these properties on public roads depends on the respective country. Before you drive around with it, you should inform yourself about the local legal situation!
Power is supplied by a 48V 15,6Ah battery. ENGWE specifies the range as up to 60 km. As is usual with most e-scooters, the ENGWE S6 can also be folded on the handlebars and is therefore relatively easy to transport. However, with a weight of 31 kg, the e-scooter is not a flyweight.
The big advantage of the high weight is a stable driving experience, which is further improved by a wide 23 cm running board, large 10" x 6,5" tires and a suspension fork.
Speed, range and battery are constantly monitored via a digital display on the handlebars. Safety features such as an LED headlight, an LED brake light, reflectors and disc brakes are present.
