Focus on ease of use and safety
The Lito series places great emphasis on making the drones easy to control and safe to fly. This is ensured, among other things, by an all-around obstacle detection system that automatically helps to avoid collisions. This allows beginners to better concentrate on filming without constantly having to think about the controls.
With the top-of-the-line Lito X1, DJI goes a step further and adds a forward-facing LiDAR sensor to the system. This detects obstacles even more accurately, especially in challenging environments or low light conditions.

Differences between DJI Lito X1 and Lito 1
Both models share many basic features, such as 4K recording, up to 36 minutes of flight time, and WiFi 6 for fast data transfers. The differences lie primarily in the camera and the advanced features.
- The Lito X1 is the more powerful model. It has a larger 1/1,3-inch sensor with 48 MP, which is designed to extract more detail from photos, especially in low light. It also supports HDR video and a 10-bit color profile, resulting in greater dynamic range and more natural colors, and it can save photos to its internal 42 GB memory even without a memory card.
- The Lito 1 is somewhat simpler in its features and uses a smaller 1/2-inch sensor, also with 48 MP. Nevertheless, it promises excellent image quality for classic social media and everyday photography.

Automated flight and recording functions
Particularly relevant for beginners are the numerous automatic recording modes, which are designed to significantly lower the barrier to entry. These include, among others:
- ActiveTrack for automatic subject tracking
- QuickShots for pre-programmed flight maneuvers
- MasterShots for complex sequences
- Hyperlapse and Panorama
Even users without flying skills can achieve impressive results relatively quickly. According to DJI, ActiveTrack remains stable even at speeds of up to 12 m/s, which should be particularly interesting for action shots.
