Modular approach for more individuality
While Nothing places the Headphone (1) in the premium segment, CMF focuses on an individual design with the cheaper Headphone Pro.
Interchangeable ear cushions in colors like light green or bright orange (€25 each per pair) allow for easy color variations and emphasize the brand's playful lifestyle approach. The headphones themselves are available in light gray, dark gray, and light green, allowing for flexible combinations to suit your taste.
Controls: Roller, slider and freely assignable button
Instead of touch gestures, operation is carried out via several physical elements directly on the headphones.
- A roller is used to control volume, playback and ANC modes.
- An energy slider allows fine adjustment of bass and treble components in real time.
- An additional button can be individually assigned functions such as spatial audio or voice assistant.
Similar to the Headphone (1), CMF combines classic hardware controls into a kind of mini mixer on the ear.
Hybrid ANC with up to 40 dB attenuation
For active noise cancellation, CMF uses a hybrid ANC system that is said to reduce ambient noise by up to 40 dB. Thanks to adaptive control, the intensity automatically adjusts to the current noise environment. A transparency mode is also available.
Five microphones are integrated for phone calls, three of which are integrated into an ENC architecture for voice transmission. A windscreen mesh is designed to improve intelligibility during outdoor use.
Sound: Hi-Res, LDAC and "Personal Sound"
The sound is delivered by 40-millimeter drivers with nickel-coated diaphragms, a dual-chamber system, and a precision bass channel. Hi-Res Audio (wired and wireless) and high-resolution LDAC with up to 990 kbps are supported.
With Audiodo technology, the Headphone Pro adapts the sound to the individual shape of the ear. Users can also adjust equalizer presets, install firmware updates, or customize the controls via the Nothing X app.
Additionally, CMF integrates 3D sound in the form of Spatial Audio with presets for movies and concerts. These are designed to create either a wider soundstage or more live energy.
Battery: up to 100 hours of playback
CMF states the runtime as up to 100 hours with ANC deactivated and 50 hours with ANC.
Thanks to the fast-charging function, 5 minutes of charging is enough for up to 8 hours of music without ANC or 4 hours with ANC. A full charge via USB-C takes about two hours.

Price and availability
The CMF Headphone Pro will be available from September 29, 2025, in Germany and Austria for 99 euros and in Switzerland for 89 CHF. Distribution partners are Amazon (DE/AT) and digitec (CH).
