Anker SOLIX S2000: New 2 kWh power station focuses on long runtimes

Published by Christian Matenar on the 11. September 2026

Anker unveiled the SOLIX S2000, a new power station with a capacity of approximately 2 kWh, at IFA 2026. The model delivers up to 1.500 W of continuous power and is designed to stand out from other solutions in this size class primarily due to its low power consumption, long battery life, and compact dimensions.

Approximately 2 kWh capacity and 1.500 W output power

The SOLIX S2000 features a 2 kWh storage system and an integrated inverter with a continuous output of up to 1.500 W. Short-term power peaks of up to 3.000 W are possible, which covers many typical household appliances such as refrigerators or televisions.

A total of eight outputs are available for simultaneous power supply. In addition to standard AC outlets, there are USB ports for smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The ports are distributed across the front and back of the housing. This allows for neater cable management depending on the setup.

For computers, network equipment, or other devices where a power outage should ideally not cause any interruption, the S2000 also features a UPS function. According to Anker, the switch from mains power to battery occurs in less than 10 milliseconds.

OptiSave is designed to keep self-consumption low

Anker's OptiSave technology aims to reduce the power station's self-consumption. This includes, among other things, an adapted inverter control system designed to operate as efficiently as possible depending on the connected load.

With the AC output enabled, Anker specifies a power consumption of 10 W. With the outputs disabled, this drops to just 2 W. According to the manufacturer, the S2000 achieves an efficiency of over 86 percent at a 100 W load.

LFP battery for up to 6.000 charging cycles

Anker uses lithium iron phosphate cells for the battery. This LFP technology has become widely established in larger power stations because it combines high cycle stability with good thermal stability.

The battery is designed for up to 6.000 charge cycles, and with a remaining capacity of 60 percent, up to 10.000 cycles should even be possible. Under normal use, the battery should therefore last for many years. Anker itself speaks of a possible lifespan of up to 15 years. Regardless, the power station comes with a five-year manufacturer's warranty.

16,2 kilograms and a comparatively small footprint

Despite its capacity of approximately 2 kWh, the S2000's housing is relatively compact. The power station measures 208 × 282 × 323,3 millimeters and weighs 16,2 kilograms.

Anker has opted for a tall, narrow design, which means the S2000 requires less floor space and is easier to store in a camper van, car, or garden shed. A handle is integrated on the side for easier transport.

Charging via wall socket, solar and vehicle

Several charging options are available. Using a standard wall socket, the S2000 achieves a charging power of up to 1.150 W. The UltraFast mode increases the charging power to up to 1.500 W.

The power station can also be charged on the go via solar panels. The solar input accepts a maximum of 400 W. Additional charging options include a generator, a vehicle's 12V socket, or a suitable alternator charger. A combination of mains power and solar charging is also possible.
