Reduced to the essentials
With the Helio Strap, Amazfit takes inspiration from the Whoop 5.0 and opts for a similarly minimalist design. There's no display, no notifications, and nothing to distract you during your workout. Instead, the fabric strap houses a sophisticated sensor system that records data around the clock, including heart rate, sleep, stress, and activity level.
A new feature, the BioCharge system developed by Amazfit, shows in real time how much energy the body currently has available. This should help users better assess when intensive training is advisable and when it's better to take a break.

According to Amazfit, the tracker is lightweight, breathable, and designed for continuous wear. The battery life is said to last up to ten days. Initial leaks even show a model with a visible display. It's possible that Amazfit is planning two versions or pursuing a flexible design where the display can be worn hidden or visible depending on usage.
HYROX and automatic training recognition
In total, the Helio Strap supports 27 different sports. HYROX Edition expands the package with two specially tailored modes – HYROX Race and PFT Mode. These allow the processes and stresses of competitions to be replicated directly in training.
During strength training, the Helio Strap automatically detects repetitions, sets, and rest periods. This eliminates manual input while still providing an accurate overview of your training volume.
Data is collected and analyzed in real time via the Zepp app. This app allows you to track training sessions, sleep phases, stress levels, and the current BioCharge status throughout the day. The app is subscription-free and compatible with platforms such as Strava, TrainingPeaks, and adidas Running.
If you already use other Amazfit devices such as the T-Rex 3 or the Helio Ring, you can integrate the Helio Strap as an additional device and thus build a comprehensive system for performance and health analysis.
Price and availability
An exact price or release date has not yet been announced. According to FCC approval and announcements, a market launch is expected in June. In addition to the Helio Strap, other new Amazfit products are expected to be released during the same period.
