The Alfawise U20 Mix is a 3D printer with a dual extruder. The printer is able to print multi-colored objects without having to change materials. The design differs from other dual extruder models. Instead of two nozzles, the filament is brought together in just one nozzle. The user can specify how the colors are merged using the slicer software. All common filament types can be printed. Even flexible filaments are no problem for the Alfawise U20 Mix.
The 3D printer is already largely built out of the box. The system is equipped with several security mechanisms. These include a "Power-on Self-test" (POST) function, which tests the printer before starting, an automatic switch-off function after printing has finished, and Smart Power Management, which protects against overheating and short circuits.
WLAN control via app, which informs the user about the printing process, is also possible. A camera can also be attached to the printer separately so that the printing process can be monitored while on the move. The Alfawise U20 Mix is equipped with a 4.3 inch touchscreen for on-site operation.
The heated print bed offers a print volume of 300 x 300 x 400 mm. The maximum printing speed is 90 mm/s. The speed recommended by the manufacturer is between 30 - 60 mm/s. An auto-level function is already integrated. Thanks to the built-in TMC2208 stepper drivers, the Alfawise U20 Mix is particularly quiet in operation.
